Industrial Composting
Our paper bowls are certified compostable to the AS 4736, EN 13432 and ASTM D6400 standards for industrial composting, verified by DIN CERTCO and BPI, which requires the compostable product to:
1) disintegrate after 12 weeks, and
2) completely biodegrade after six months. (This means that 90% or more of the material will have been converted to CO2. The remaining share is converted into water and biomass – i.e. valuable compost.)
