Made from the Ingeo™ brand of polylactic acid (PLA) bioplastic produced from renewable feedstocks such as corn, sugar cane or beets, these cups retain the functionality and usefulness of PET petrochemical plastic cups but can be diverted from landfills where compost programmes exist.
